Harry Styles and Brad Pitt Rumored to Star in a New Film

Harry Styles was rumored to restart his acting career and he was also rumored to be starring opposite Brad Pitt. Vértice Cine, a film distributor, claimed that the singer will appear opposite Brad in a movie called, ‘Faster, Cheaper, Better’.

Fans went crazy over the news of the two coming together for a film. They all took to social media to express their excitement. Although the rumors were shut down by the two stars.

One fan wrote: ‘Brad Pitt & Harry Styles in one movie. Just imagine the power. The excellence.’ Another added: ‘Brad Pitt and Harry Styles. Together in a MOVIE. Do y’all know the POWER it will hold? The most attractive cast me thinks.’

In true social media fashion, there were several memes made in a short span of time. This made Brad Pitt a trending topic on Twitter. However, the rumors were shut down by the representatives of both Harry and Brad calling it ‘inaccurate’.

The flick reportedly deals with the trucking industry and how artificial intelligence is set to ‘transform’ the world. The synopsis reads: ‘The story deals with the great and inevitable changes that are coming in the trucking industry, weighing the possibility of an industry without humans on board the vehicles.’

The film was reportedly twisted stories of countless characters including a union boss, a young businessman, an inland farm manager, and a tech millionaire. Their lives are cut short when the automation and artificial intelligence transform the world as we know it. The film spans 20 years in multiple locations and in the end, “everyone must face the meaning of being human”.

Harry Was Approached for The Little Mermaid

The distributor also reported that the film will be directed by Dan Gilroy. Harry was last seen in the blockbuster movie, Dunkirk, in 2017. He was cast opposite Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, and Tom Hardy. The film was a huge success, grossing over $ 500million at the box office and winning positive praise from critics.

Harry was one of the contenders who was going to play Prince Eric in the remake of The Little Mermaid. However, the singer passed on the role and said he is sure it is going to be amazing. He said, “But they shoot for so long and I wanna tour next year, maybe. I haven’t announced that yet, but yeah, it just didn’t quite line up.”

As for Brad, he was recently nominated for an Emmy for his act on SNL. He was last seen in Ad Astra and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, which earned him the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards. 

Brad Pitt surprised all of us by his Emmy nomination. He was recognized as one of the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series category. The actor got chosen for his portrayal of Dr. Anthony Fauci on Saturday Night Live.

Brad is not new to being nominated. This is his fourth nomination and he was earlier nominated for  Nightingale in 2015 and 2014. He won the award in the same category for The Normal Heart. However, he was also classified as an executive producer on the movie.

Brad always earned a nomination for his appearance in then-wife, Jennifer Aniston’s hit sitcom, Friends. He was nominated as the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series category. His role on Friends was memorable as he entered the show hating his wife’s character on-screen.

Brad is having a real good streak on award shows. He won an Oscar for the Best Supporting Actor in February for his role as stuntman Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
