BPD Arrest John Precourt & Alelia Whalen for Breaking into Clothing Store in Boston
Boston, Massachusetts At approximately 1:43 a.m. on Wednesday June 10, 2020, officers assigned to District D-4 (Southend) responded to a radio alert for a business warning to Laced at 426 Massachusetts. Street in Boston. When the officers arrived, the officers noticed that the store window was completely broken. The front door of the store is closed. Officers entered with the help of the store owner and upon entering the store, they noticed a large rock in the area under the window. Officers spoke to the merchant, who said he had stolen various items in addition to an unknown amount of the U.S. currency. Surveillance footage showed a man and woman throwing a stone out of the window, praying inside the store and holding various things before escaping on foot to Massachusetts Avenue to Tremont Street.
Officers searched the area for suspects and found a man who matched the suspect’s description at 393 Mass Ave. They found the man in possession of a purple jacket belonging to the store, which was returned to its owner. The suspect was arrested.
Additional units responding to the scene found a woman identical to the description of the second suspect in the 526 Mas Ave area. The female was found wearing a blue and black backpack plus a black coat, belonging to the store. Items are recovered and returned to the owner. The suspected woman was arrested.
Officers John Precourt, 43, of Boston and Alia Wallin, 30, of Wilmington. Both are expected to be summoned to the Boston Municipal Court on charges of trespassing and entering a nightclub for a felony and Larseny from a building. Precourt faces additional charges for the destruction of harmful property.
During the reservation process, Whalen was found to be in possession of illegal drug possession and was also charged with possession of Class A drugs, possession of Class C drugs and possession of Class E drugs.
BPD Officers Arrest Damian Cox-Bush & Recover a Firearm in Roxbury
Boston, Massachusetts At approximately 12:51 a.m. on Wednesday June 10, 2020, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) made an arrest at the scene and recovered a loaded firearm at District 57 Walnut Park in Roxbury. While on patrol, officers noted that the car did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Crawford Street and Walnut Street in Roxbury.
Officers backed up, followed the car in an attempt to stop traffic. Officers continued to follow the car on Walnut Street and then onto Westminster Street before the car accelerated on Waldrin Street. The car continued at high speed and passed another stop sign without stopping, before entering Walnut Park lane 57. The officers got out of their Corvettes and joined the operator. Officers later found a Firearm with the Pact of Arms.38 loaded with five rounds of live ammunition inside the glove compartment. The operator has been reserved.
Officers Damian Cox Bush, 29, of Roxbury, were arrested. Cox-Bush is expected to be summoned to the Roxbury County Courthouse for possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition. In addition, a suspicious price was issued for speed and for not stopping.
