Synaptics ThinkPad UltraNav driver problem
Lenovo discovered that some of its devices display an error message saying “Apoint.DLL failed to load, Alps Pointing app stops” when users try to use system recovery function.According to Lenovo, to resolve the problem, do the following:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand “Mouse and Other Pointing Devices.”
- Select “Think UltraNav”.
- Right click on it and update the driver to the latest version.
- Restart your computer.
If you see a yellow warning sign on a drive using the BitLocker Encryption Tool in Windows 10 after installing the May 2020 update, try the following steps:
- Right-click on the drive.
- Turn Bitlocker on and off.
- If you don’t use BitLocker, you can disable the feature from Settings> Update & security> Device encryption.
- The question of green borders for the application of films and television programs.
- Some people complain that when they watch videos in the Movies & TV app, a green border appears around the clips.
According to Lenovo, this is due to a compatibility issue with the old AMD graphics driver and the Windows 10 May 2020 update.
To fix the problem, make sure the AMD graphics drivers are up to date.

The F11 key seems to no longer work on Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet Gen3 after installing Windows 10 May 2020 update.There doesn’t seem to be a solution right now, but Lenovo says it plans to fix the bug later in June.

Lenovo is investigating an issue in which the owners of their devices face BSOD errors when sleep or hibernation resumes.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the only way to fix this problem is to uninstall the May 2020 update and revert to Windows 10 version 1909 (or earlier).
