On 4th January 2022, we were enlightened to a tale like no other. The reality TV star Staphanie Matto, hailing from Connecticut, recently made a groundbreaking revelation of what will probably be one of the most out-of-the-box ventures you’ll ever encounter.
The influencer has shed light on how she utilised her 260,000 followers’ fanbase to earn more than $50,000 a week by selling her farts in a jar (this is not a prank). Countless people commented and reacted to this news as the the wind of this gassy project reached the audiences worldwide, instantly turning it into a trending story on twitter.
I’ve said this a million times but when are people going to learn that flatulence is a gateway drug that will only do more damage to your body the more you take advantage of it. Kids these days. 🤷♂️🤣 #90DayFiance pic.twitter.com/iaVPatB5Sd— John Yates (@JohnYates327) January 4, 2022
Following her journey after starring in ’90 Days Fiance’, we find that Stephanie Matto has been on the grind ever since; she became a Youtuber and started her own channel, founded an X-rated site called Unfiltrd, and even wrote a book diving into several short stories from throughout her life… all the way upto an olfaction business that she’d started because she thought “it’d be a hilarious publicity move that would get a lot of people’s attention.”
At the certain stage in this ‘publicity move’, the demand bacame so high for Stephanie’s wind that she was producing about 50 jars worth of gas in a single week.
However, the former actress officially retired from this pungent venture after earning $200,000 in sales, since it turns out that she passed one too many and got the wind knocked out of her, Jam Press reported. “I thought I was having a stroke and that these were my final moments. I was overdoing it,” she commented to the news agency.
“It was quite hard to breathe and every time I tried to breathe in I’d feel a pinching sensation around my heart,” she explained on the matter. “And that, of course, made my anxiety escalate. I actually called my friend and asked if they could come over to drive me to the hospital because I thought I was experiencing a heart attack.”
After going through a variety of tests, from blood work to an EKG, it was found that her intense pains were a result of her banana protein shakes and beans intensive diet.
“I remember within one day I had about three protein shakes and a huge bowl of black-bean soup,” she said.
“It was made clear that what I was experiencing wasn’t a stroke or heart attack but very intense gas pains,” Matto told the outlet, adding that she did not tell docs about her rear racket, according to NY Post.
“I was advised to change my diet and to take a gas suppressant medication, which has effectively ended my business.” She has retired from selling farts in jars, much to her family’s ‘relief’.
Her customers may never see even a whiff of these physical jars again, but they would be able to purchase them as artwork NFTs on the blockchain. It seems Metro has wisely remarked, you may very well say that Stephanie, along with her career, has been granted a second wind at life through the digital space.
